Cookie Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026. This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies that may be used when you visit GoldRateToday.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They are used to make sites work, to remember choices and to measure how sites are used. Similar technologies include local storage, which keeps small amounts of data in your browser, and tracking pixels or scripts.
2. What we use
- Cookies set by us: none. We do not set first-party cookies.
- Local or session storage: we do not use browser storage to identify or track you. Our visit record uses a random identifier that lives only in the page while it is open, and is sent to our server so that we can record how long you stayed.
- Advertising or marketing cookies: none. We do not run advertising on the site at this time.
- Analytics cookies: none. Our own visit records, described in our privacy policy, are kept on our server and do not use cookies.
3. Cookies that may come from our providers
Hosting and security. Our website is delivered through Cloudflare. To protect the site from attacks, bots and abuse, Cloudflare may set or read strictly necessary technologies, such as a cookie that helps tell genuine visitors from automated traffic. These exist to keep the site working and secure, and are not used for advertising.
Fonts. Our pages request a typeface from Google Fonts. This makes your browser contact Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. We do not control how Google handles that request, so please see Google's privacy policy.
4. Why we do not show a cookie banner
Because we do not set cookies for tracking, advertising or analytics, we do not currently ask you to accept or reject them. If that changes, for example if we add analytics or advertising, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before using any non-essential cookie.
5. How to control cookies
You can control cookies in your browser settings, where you can usually see which cookies are stored, delete them, and block cookies from particular sites or all sites. Blocking strictly necessary security cookies may stop some pages from loading properly. Each browser handles this differently, so please check its help pages. You can also use your browser's private browsing mode, which clears cookies when you close it.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our site or the law changes, and we will change the date at the top when we do. Questions about this policy can be sent through our contact page.
